The two warehouses, which were built in 1938, are let to the German Museum of Technology in Berlin, and are used to store historic trains and engines. The actual Museum of Technology is connected to them via a rail siding of around 1.4 km.

The property lies directly next to a park, Flaschenhalspark, in a core location of Berlin.
