Chemnitz: IKK Classic New Anchor Tenant in Former Municipal Engineering Office

The IKK Classic guild health insurance will relocate to new premises within Chemnitz. For the offices of its service centre, which are currently located at Brückenstrasse 13, the company rented 5,100 square metres in the former municipal engineering office on the advice of BNP Paribas Real Estate. This will make the health insurance, which plans to move this fall, the new anchor tenant at the property. Overall, the office scheme at Annaberger Strasse 89-93 has a gross lettable area of 22,000 square metres. The property is owned by a special purpose vehicle of the Berlin-based DVI Group.

IKK Classic, headquartered in Dresden, is Germany’s largest guild health insurance and manages around two thirds of the country’s 5.2 million members of such health insurances. The company employs more than 6,500 staff and operates 181 service centres nationwide.
